I teach Introduction to User-centered Design at the Art Institute of Tampa. The syllabus requires I "define a website mission" which becomes "the" project for students. In the past I've selected specific websites for them to run through a redesign process from the users' perspective. As they are doing this they are introduced to concepts, theories and practices to guide them.

Cheers/thx
